The setup location can be on grass, asphalt, driveways, patios, decks, sand, dirt, or small, smooth rock such as small, rounded river rock, or pea gravel. The setup location must be clear of sharp weeds, sharp objects, animal waste, snow, ice, and tree limbs. It should also be fairly flat, though mild slopes are OK for everything except slides (see below). Generally speaking, the kids should be able to safely jump without falling into the sides of the bouncer. If you're unsure about the location, you can e-mail a picture of the site to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , or you can schedule a site visit prior to your rental.
Slides require special consideration, especially slides over 16' tall, which requires a nearly perfectly level surface. The Bouncer/Slide Combos can accommodate a mild slope, as long as the actual slide on the unit points directly uphill or downhill. Even tilting the slide slightly sideways can increase the chance of rubbing-related, skin burns.
